John Shelk

As managing director of Ochoco Lumber in Prineville, Oregon, John Shelk balances responsible timber production with sound environmental practices. To honor his longstanding commitment to forest stewardship, the World Forestry Center awarded Shelk the Harry A. Merlo Award in 2006. In partnership with the Wave One Group. Digital Wave provided production and editorial services in creating a short retrospective highlighting Shelk's life and work.
