Easter Seals Oregon's Children's Therapy Center
Children with developmental disabilities, and their parents, find hope and healing at the Easter Seals Oregon's Family Therapy Center in Salem.
Opportunity
Because the Center provides a variety of therapy services for children ages 1-18, we needed to simplify this story so audiences would immediately grasp the Center's purpose and mission.
Our Creative Approach
We recommended telling this story through the experiences of one patient and his family. Center staff selected Caleb, a young boy who had been receiving therapy at the Center for several years. By telling Caleb's story through interviews with the boy's parents and therapists, we planned to highlight the variety of therapy services offered at the Center. We would also be able to show Caleb's progress and the life-changing work performed by the therapists at the Center.
Results
Caleb's story brought to life the purpose of the Center and the mission of Easter Seals Oregon in a powerful and emotional way. ESO is using Caleb's story as its key fundraising story for the Center, with great results.
