United Methodist Church Grand Camp

If you've ever cherished a visit from your grandparents, you will understand the appeal of spending a weekend at Grand Camp.

Opportunity
The Oregon-Idaho Camp and Retreat Ministries team of The United Methodist Church wanted to show prospective participants the fun, joy and opportunities for spiritual connection that can occur between grandparents and grandchildren in a camping environment.

Our Creative Approach
We adopted an unobtrusive and casual approach in documenting the many activities of Grand Camp. Campers quickly got used to our "fly on the wall" approach, which enabled us to conduct quick interviews as well as capture authentic unscripted moments between grandparents and grandchildren. Holly produced the story and Wayne served as Editor.

Results
The simple, yet profound experiences of grandparents and grandchildren spending time together formed the core of this story. Camp and Retreat Ministries is using this video as part of its marketing materials to promote its Intergenerational and Grand Camp programs.
